Semester break. Whee! But the truth is...I'm bored already. I borrowed 5 books to keep me company and I finished one in one day. It was one of those 'Love Stories' book, very easy to read. Also very predictable. I YouTube a lot, searching for Gossip Girls season 2 promo. *squee!* Can't wait for the new season! Hmm...maybe i have to resort to DVDs if I can't wait for 8TV to show it. It's kinda irratating when 8TV keeps censoring kissing scenes and switching the episodes around! They showed episode 13 before showing episode 12 a few weeks ago, and they did not bother showing the 1st episode. What~
I was cleaning out my study room today(forcing myself, since I spend most of yesterday watching the non-stop marathon of Desperate Housewives, despite constant complaints from my father about re-watching them again). Did the usual clearing out, although I haven't touch this semester's notes and stuff, just in case I fail anything. *knocks on wood* And then I stumble across some really old stuff. I'm pretty superstitious, whereby I keep the exam papers of which I'm really proud off, eg. Accounts and Add Maths. From my Form 5 exams. Yes, i know, shock sendiri....and I still kept my SAM Legal Studies notes, because my sister mentioned that it is good to keep the old stuff just in case I need it in the future. Hmm...that probably explains her old college notes, collecting dust in my parents' bedroom.
When do we actually throw out our old notes and stuff? After the results? One year? Never? For me, I would just throw it when I'm doing the clean-up, but sometimes I feel so sayang to throw it all away. They are the reminders of the stress and hard work during those times...but they collect loads of dust. So I compromised, and threw the Legal Studies stuff (since I doubt I'll need it again...) and kept the Economics notes, for I will have Economics next sem. Oh crap, I just remembered! I'm gonna study Business Law next sem! Better go fish out those notes!
