Phew. I have been doing (been forced) lots of spring cleaning for the past 4 days, starting on Boxing Day. Cleaning the computer, painting the gate, clearing out the dresser, etc...it's a pain in the butt, but quite rewarding. Yay, no more spring cleaning for at least, one years time!

Year 2008 is about to come to an end....though I don't think time passed that quickly, as compared to other years. Anyway....what a year. Lol, I can still remember that during the beginning of this year, the Chua Soi Lek scandal broke out, and I thought...what a way to start of year 2008! Then the elections rolled in, and for once, I was aware of what's going on. Aware of the idiotic acts of many politicians, fighting over stupid stuff. Aware of all talk, but no work. Broken promises. It's still going on. Then the US elections, which was very exicting, for once. I do hope that Barack Obama will be a better president than Bush. Har...Kudos to the journalist who threw his shoes. It summarises how most people feel about Bush.

When it comes to TV shows, 2008 has been a great year! Gossip Girls. <3 I want Season 2 now!!! At first it was pretty lame, in terms of acting and storyline. But I love the show. Blair and Chuck. But urgh, Serena is still annoying. Anyway, I never really liked the book version of Serena. Jenny became bratty. Dan and Vanessa are too commercial. Other great shows I love include Ugly Betty, Desparate Housewives, Amazing Race Asia and The Amazing Race. Gray's Anatomy has gone downhill...they should kick Izzie off, and I'll be so happy. I've been watching 90210 also...man. When I compare 90210 and GG, GG truimphs. In terms of acting (Shanae Grimes is a terrible, terrible actress that likes to swish her hands to make a point) and storyline (so typical). And Pushing Daisies...it was quite fun, but a bit dissapointing. But I like Olive and Digby the dog. So cute! And can StarWorld STOP showing Heroes (or at least the Heroes preview???). Seriously. I watch StarWorld a lot. And 75% of the time, a Heroes commercial is on. I can watch a one-hour show, and the Heroes commercial will be shown up to 4 times. Yes, I get it. Heroes is an exclusive show. Heroes has characters that don't know who they really are. Want to save the world. Save the cheerleader. Go back in time to save the world and the cheerleader. Blah blah blah. I hate this show, mainly due to the overhype. I can only stand Sylar. And and....I want to watch The Office! It's been a long time since StarWorld last showed it. Stop showing Heroes, replace with The Office!

I definitely had a quieter year. In terms of social life, where I can count the number of times I have gone out. Sometimes I feel like a loser as a result of that, as my social life is pretty dull as compared to a normal girl. But I promised myself to not whine about this, and make a resolution for 2009. Be more sociable. Eeek! I also wanna make somemore resolutions...to spend less. To be more active. To be more hardworking.

Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! =)
